Katie has helped my son in math and in his life. He used to shut down, filled with stress when he sat down to do his math. It affected the whole family! A couple of days ago, he reflected that tutoring has helped him to stay calm. His stress came from feeling like he needed to be perfect, but that he wasn’t capable. He said he no longer feels that way. We see the benefits of this growth in all areas of his life where his stress was negatively affecting him.

We needed help, and we found it! Our daughter does not accept strangers quickly, but Katie was perfectly patient and persistent. I was really worried about Ethan starting high school remotely, particularly because he tends to be inconsistent with math. I decided to hire Katie before the year started to give him a little extra support and it was the BEST decision we could have ever made! Ethan’s tutor Katie is FABULOUS! Ethan’s confidence has grown exponentially, and I am so proud to say that he earned a solid A in Algebra, and we are continuing with her in Geometry. If you have a kiddo who is struggling, run to Katie and give it a go. It is worth EVERY penny. And Ethan actually enjoys it! It’s been great.

Katie has been an invaluable resource for us these past two years. My daughter was told by her math teacher that she shouldn’t bother taking honors because she wouldn’t get better than a C. Katie worked with her through the year and she ended the year with an A-. My daughter says Katie is incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely cares about her students. I often hear my daughter laughing during her sessions with Katie. She keeps it light and fun.
